The Bridge Orchestra

The Bridge Project uses the transformative and communal power of music to empower and connect Jerusalem’s youth.

Our Vision:
We believe an orchestra is a living model of unity and collaboration, where diverse individuals work together to create something greater than themselves. Through this dynamic experience, we bring together communities and teach essential skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, self-expression, active listening, and mutual empowerment.

By fostering these values, we aim to inspire hope and empower children, parents, and teaching artists to break cycles of segregation, dehumanization, violence, and hopelessness. Each rehearsal and concert is a lab to exercise the musical and interpersonal skills that we are learning, and to bridge the orchestra and the wider community. Our vision is to create a ripple effect of positive change throughout Jerusalem, where empowered individuals lead their communities toward greater understanding, inclusion, and harmony.

Our youth orchestra is open for all, focusing especially on youth from underserved and diverse Jerusalem communities, between the ages of 14-18.
